The Multi Organ Transplant Program offers a wide range of educational opportunities for medical professionals and attracts interest from physicians and surgeons around the world. In addition to residency placements, there are a number of fellowships offered for physicians interested in clinical practice and research in the fields of transplantation and immunology. The program has strong ties to the University of Toronto and advances significantly within this partnership. Dr. Atul Humar & Dr. Paul Greig serve as Directors of Education for the MOT program.
Medical Rounds are held each week for organ specific transplant groups as well as a general session of interest to transplant professionals from all disciplines. Journal club and medical orientation also contribute to the educational development of staff and students.
